3rd Place: Bill Schneider, Queen Of Hearts

The loose mark-makiing on the young woman’s red shawl and neckline draw attention to the beautiful rendering of her soft features.  Her nose, lips and eyes seem to reflect and glow with warm firelight just outside the picture plane.  The lost and found lines of the model’s cheek and neck, the shadow of her stray hair curl, and the glimmering light in her eyes all add to a sense of sweet youthfulness.
