Masterful mark-making and wonderful color delight the eye in this landscape. Dramatic purple diagonals in the foreground draw the viewer to a loosely rendered dark tree full of turquoise sky holes. The eye roams the background skyscape, a delicious light peach glowing in the dusk, with its streak of vibrating pink with the palest aqua water below. Beautiful palette.
